Another Home Inspection Video Blog

I'm trying to move from a traditional blog to a video blog. So please have patience as I try to get all the kinks out of my videos. I hope to eventually be able to make nice, seamless and error-free videos directly in the field some time soon. Until then... practice makes perfect.

The video below shows the importance of an attic inspections during the home inspection. Specifically it shows an attic exhaust fan from a bathroom that does not have a duct in the attic that terminates the hot and moist air to the exterior. I hope you enjoy it.

I hope this gives you a little more information about a home inspection and its importance. Be safe out there.

What's up Joseph. I just watched your video. Nice work. I need to do the same for my blog and add some videos of some of the crazy stuff we find out in the field as home inspectors. One thing I wanted to point out in your video. You mentioned about running the exhaust vent from the bathroom out to an eave or soffit vent, and in some jurisdictions this is not allowed. The justification is that while you can get the end of the exhaust vent close to the outside air some of the moist humid air is going to spill back in the attic.in some parts of the world you must exhaust a bathroom out through the roof.

Take it easy and be safe.
